First and second camera
You won’t be a legitimate Essex wedding photographer if you don’t have your cameras. If you are planning to launch a career as an Essex wedding photographer and cover weddings with just a lone camera in tow, you might as well forget it. There are so many different risks that come along with it at some point or so and you need to seriously take care of it as much as you possibly can. If you don’t have the money to buy another high quality camera, you can always make do with the second hand ones that are in good condition. Professional photographers upgrade their equipment of their gear all of the time. There is no reason why you should not be taking a slice out of the stuff that they actually dispose for fairly dirt cheap prices. Keep an eye out online and be ready anytime because deals like these come along often but they also get closed or get sold pretty quick. You need hawk-eyed concentration and focus all of the time. You also have the option to temporarily borrow stuff from your friends or from the rest of the other people you know who might have something to spare for you.
Every wedding photographer needs his assortment of lenses. Without the right lenses to help you along and help you bring your shots to life, you might as well come up with photos that look like they have been taken by a regular iPhone. That is not the kind of thing that you would like to pull off at the end of the day. You are a paid professional wedding photographer, after all. Your clients will be more than happy to go ahead and pay out a premium in exchange for the quality of photos and in exchange for the artistic compositions and perspectives that you will be able to bring along with them somewhere along the way. A good assortment of lenses will help you along with that, and then some. Make sure that you do not ever go ahead and lose sight of what is important at the end of the day. Always ensure that no matter what happens, you slowly build up your lens arsenal. Make sure that you know how each and every single one of them functions as well. Play around with the shooting. Always bring your camera out with you and practice shooting whenever you get the chance. Memory cards and batteries
Memory cards and batteries are relatively small and handy compared to the rest of the other accessories and gadgets related to professional photography. They are extremely important though. The most powerful and state of the art cameras will be of no good to you if you have faulty or unreliable memory cards and batteries. That is something that you can go ahead and take to the bank every single time so try to take note of that whenever you can. You also need to understand that when it all comes down to it, it can be very embarrassing to run out of either one of them somewhere along the way. It will paint you as a scatterbrained and as an unprepared professional wedding photographer and that is what you need to go ahead and avoid as much as possible.
A tripod is tremendous help during instances of challenging lighting and during instances wherein you might be dealing with a particularly long and heavy lens. You need to understand the gravity of the situation when you are covering wedding photo shoots. You certainly will not be able to survive off of holding your camera by hand all of the time. Weddings take hours and hours to finish. A tripod can give you a break every once in a while without the added stress.
